What a day. The sunrise presented a crisp morning with frost on the ground but the blue skies that greeted me when I got up this morning, was a great omen.

I arrived at the assembly point where I met up with Lorraine Simpson , Keith, Oscar, Nikita Nik , Svetlana Shuleshko, Yury Serdyuk & olena.

We departed just before 10am and proceeded to the first point of reference (the stunning Holycross Abbey in Tipperary) meandering our way around tipperary Town, dundrum village, clonoulty and arriving a little behind schedule.

An real time tracker was active and proved useful as we were met by Richard Hennessy, his father and a beautiful xk8

Holycross Abbey to County Waterford.

Being from the area; lead of the run passed to Richard Hennessy who took us from Holycross to Cashel and the setting for some great photos of the Rock of Cashel and Cashel Palace (where we had a break for tea and scones).

Leaving the hotel, we used the opportunity for a few great photos of the jags outside the hotel. Oscar deployed a drone and got a wow moment of the cars, the hotel and the Rock.. again all I can say is wow.

We proceeded to DoveHill and on to Mount Concrieve in co. Waterford via carrick on suir to kilmeaden Road.

Mount Concrieve to Hook Head

We stopped for lunch at Mount Concrieve and proceeded on to Passage East car Ferry where we crossed from County Waterford to County Wexford.

There we were joined by Nicholas Foote and Noreen in their xf, for the final leg to Hook Head where we got some photos of the lighthouse, the point where the Atlantic meets the Irish sea and of course the sun setting on a great day.

All in we drove about 8 hours across 4 counties. I hope it gave members a taster of what jewels we have in ireland and what great members we have.
